USSEC’s 4th Advanced Training Program for Veterinarians from Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia was held from May 6 – 13 at the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville, Florida.
Ten veterinarians attended the intensive training program, conducted by USSEC consultant Dr. Gary Butcher, Professor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida. Topics included biosecurity, vaccination programming, emerging metabolic diseases, and endemic diseases in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The course included lectures and ample time for questions and discussions, providing a valuable opportunity for these poultry industry-leading veterinarians from the MENA Region to learn of new advances in disease diagnosis and control and to encourage dialogue.
USSEC MENA Regional Consultant Mousa Wakileh coordinated this very popular and successful program.
