Mexican Customers Hear About Benefits of U.S. Soybean Oil at Exporestaurantes 2017 Trade Show

USSEC participated in the Exporestaurantes trade show in Mexico City last June 28-30 to promote U.S. soybean oil. Exporestaurantes is a major trade show for the Hotels Restaurants and Institutions (HRI) segment in Mexico. About 250 exhibitor companies participated in the event. Three Mexican refineries of U.S. soybean exhibited and promoted more than ten soybean oil products at the USSEC booth.
USSEC consultant Jorge Martinez organized the participation of the USSEC booth, which was located inside the edible oils pavilion organized by the National Association of Edible Fats and Oils Producers (ANIAME). Every day of the trade show, Mr. Martinez gave a presentation, “Characteristics and frying performance of U.S. soybean oil.” There was also a chef contest with Giuseppe de Pasquale participating on behalf of USSEC as part of the jury. Contest recipes were based on seafood and U.S. soybean oil was used to cook them. The participating sales managers and representatives from the soybean oil refineries made more than 60 commercial contacts during this trade show.
