USSOY.org just released the final 2015 timelines from its Ground Work feature.
The Ground Work reports were implemented because U.S. Soy’s international customers expressed continued curiosity about day-to-day happenings “in the field.” Ground Work gives these customers a glimpse into the daily activities of U.S. soybean farmers and their contribution to the total quality experience of U.S. Soy.
In 2015, six grower leaders participated in Ground Work. They included retired American Soybean Association (ASA) director Walter Godwin of Georgia; USSEC director and ASA first vice president Ron Moore of Illinois; USSEC vice chairman and ASA director Jim Miller of Nebraska; USSEC and United Soybean Board (USB) director Derek Haigwood of Arkansas; USB director Belinda Burrier of Maryland; and retired USSEC director and USB chairman Jim Stillman of Iowa.
The 2015 Ground Work timelines provide a summary of each farmer’s growing season and harvest in various regions of the U.S. To check out the timelines, please click on each farmer’s name in the paragraph above.
