USSEC Participates in IGC Conference in London

USSEC participated in the International Grains Council (IGC) conference on June 14 in London.
The USSEC delegation included USSEC chairman Laura Foell and USSEC CEO Jim Sutter.
USSEC was joined by representatives from many other international marketing cooperator organizations including the Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA), Coceral, Appamex, Canada Grains Council, U.S. Grains Council (USGC), U.S. Wheat, and others at the conference. The theme of the conference was “Changing Dynamics: the New Trading Environment.”
Among the subjects discussed were the supply and demand outlook, the impact of external factors on production and trade, recent trade policy developments including the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), and trade and logistics.
“The IGC conference provided us with a good opportunity to discuss topics of mutual interest, to learn from the various presenters and to meet with current/future customers of U.S. Soy,” stated Chairman Foell. “Especially during times of volatility in the market, it is important to get out and assure customers of the supply chain that exists in the U.S.”
