U.S. Soy Grower Leaders to Participate in Seafood Expo

USSEC will participate in the Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America in Boston, Massachusetts March 17 to 19.
American Soybean Association (ASA) director Pam Snelson and United Soybean Board (USB) director April Hemmes will represent U.S. farmers at this event. Participating USSEC staff will include Jairo Amezquita from the Americas region; Lukas Manomaitis from Southeast Asia; and Jim Zhang and Enhua Zhou from China, who will also be in attendance and meeting with international aquaculture influencers.
Mr. Zhang and Mr. Zhou will travel with a trade team consisting of six Chinese officials who will participate in the Expo and visit aqua farms in the San Francisco area.
According to its website, Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America is North America’s largest seafood exposition. Thousands of buyers and suppliers from around the world attend the annual three-day exposition to meet, network and do business. Attending buyers represent importers, exporters, wholesalers, restaurants, supermarkets, hotels, and other retail and foodservice companies. Exhibiting suppliers offer the newest seafood products, processing and packaging equipment, and services available in the seafood market.
The USSEC booth will promote the inclusion of U.S. Soy products in aquafeed.
