USSEC Participates in PAMED Animal Production Exhibition Show in Tunisia

USSEC participated in the Mediterranean Exhibition of Animal Production, Livestock, and Agricultural Equipment (PAMED) from May 16 – 19 in Tunisia. PAMED is the major professional event for Tunisia’s poultry and feed industry. About 90 booths representing companies and institutions related to these industries were displayed at PAMED. The 14th edition of PAMED coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Poulina Holding Group, the first integrated poultry integrated group in Tunisia and a major player in Africa. SNA was PAMED’s major sponsor and was particularly followed by many professionals from Algeria, Libya, Morocco, and many sub-Saharan African countries.
USSEC was a show sponsor and Dr. Riadh Karma, USSEC’s local technical and commercial consultant represented USSEC at this event.

PAMED offered an opportunity for visitors to learn more about USSEC and U.S. soybean product quality and sustainability. Dr. Karma had many discussions with professionals from the poultry and feed industry.
During the show, USSEC organized a successful poultry nutrition seminar provided by USSEC consultant Dr. Craig Coon, professor at the University of Arkansas and three other speakers.
He met with most of USSEC’s major customers (SNA, ALFA/MEDIMIX, NUTRICAP, PROVITAL, EL MACHIA) either in the USSEC booth or in their respective booths, talking about their new products and the poultry and market situation, especially after the last two years’ crisis in Tunisia’s poultry and ruminant sectors.
