USSEC International Food Marketing Manager Marypat Corbett gave a presentation at the 2nd Annual INTL FCStone Grocery Outlook Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Ms. Corbett spoke about the vegetable oil market to conference participants including grocery wholesalers, retailers and distributors.  Presentations emphasized supply-and-demand issues and their impact on retail prices.
This conference, held on September 26-27 at the Paris Hotel and Casino, aimed to provide long-term forecasts for commodity prices, interest rates and the U.S. economy and introduce a wide array of tools for managing risk and protecting margins.
