U.S. Soy Grower Leaders Participate in 4th USSEC Maghreb Poultry Nutrition Roundtable

A team of seven key customers from the Tunisian poultry and feed industries attended the fourth USSEC Maghreb Poultry Nutrition Roundtable, held in Skhirat in the Rabat area, Morocco from April 2 to 3, 2019. American Soybean Association (ASA) treasurer and United Soybean Board (USB) director Tom Griffith participated in this roundtable.
Dr. Riadh Karma, USSEC representative in Tunisia, escorted the Tunisian team. The event was very well-organized, the choice of the topics especially good, and the level of the speakers was particularly high.
According to the Tunisian team members, the event was a great success and was a great opportunity for them to learn more about advanced poultry nutrition and good use of U.S. soybean oil in poultry rations.
The Tunisian participants appreciated being present among a large audience of people from Algeria and Morocco, as well as U.S. exporters to exchange experiences and do business. After the conference, all of them had, besides updated nutrition knowledge, a better idea about the quality and the sustainability of soy production in the U.S. and its high level logistics.
