USSEC Participates in Asia-Pacific Aquaculture Expo 2016

USSEC China aquaculture staff participated in the Asia-Pacific Aquaculture Expo 2016 in Xiamen, China from May 24-27.

The Expo is an annual event organized by China Aquatic Products Processing & Marketing Association (CAPPMA) under China’s Ministry of Agriculture and is the biggest aquaculture-oriented event in the Asia-Pacific region. More than 11,000 professionals visited the Expo and over 400 companies displayed booths at the Expo.
This was the first time that USSEC attended and exhibited a booth at the Expo. During the two exhibition days, more than 500 visitors came to USSEC’s booth to learn about USSEC’s environment-friendly feed-based aquaculture technology and the SSAP.
USSEC Freshwater Aquaculture Technical Manager – China Zhou Enhua gave a presentation about USSEC’s Intensive Pond Aquaculture (IPA) Technology, which was very well responded to by more than 100 participants. The Expo provided an excellent platform for USSEC to promote its technology, advocate the SSAP, and get broader face-to-face interaction with potential cooperators. USSEC’s booth won second place among all the booths for its design.
