Growth Expected to Continue in Egypt’s Aquaculture Industry

A greater boom is expected in fish production in Egypt.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry in Egypt announced that export fees on fresh, chilled, and frozen fish were cancelled as of January 2. The Ministry had imposed export fees on fresh, chilled, and frozen fish in 2017 to regulate/control Egypt’s local fish prices.
USSEC is committed to provide the necessary technical assistance for Egyptian aquaculture producers to help them to expand fish exports.
