FAS Administrator Speaks at Trade Reception in Jordan

On Monday, February 18, USSEC, together with the U.S. Grains Council, hosted a trade reception in honor of the Foreign Agricultural Service’s (FAS) Administrator Ken Isley’s visit to Jordan that was held at the InterContinental Jordan Hotel in Amman, Jordan. The trade reception included 40 participants, including key contacts from the country’s private and public sectors.
During the event, Mousa Wakileh, USSEC regional consultant – MENA, welcomed the audience; Ali Abdi, Minister-Counselor for Agricultural Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, provided opening remarks; and Administrator Isley gave a speech.
“We are honored to learn more about the relationship between the U.S. and Jordan,” stated Administrator Isley during his speech.
Participants were able to chat, interact, and share with each other and with Administrator Isley during the trade reception.
