Consultants Jorge Martinez, Pedro Gonzalez and Adela Perez organized the USSEC booth. More than 30 soybean products were exhibited and promoted at the booth including soybean oils, soy beverages, soybean texturized protein foods and tofu, manufactured by fourteen companies that consume U.S. soybeans in the Americas region. A USSEC member company who manufactures natural soybean and organic healthy food products for retail private labels and food service sectors also participated at the USSEC booth. The USSEC consultants assisted managers and representatives of these companies to exhibit and promote their products, making more than 60 new commercial contacts. Additionally, a chef was hired to prepare different recipes using soybean oil, texturized soybean protein and soybean beverages and invited trade show attendees to taste these foods.
