USSEC Promotes Soy Products at Exporestaurantes Trade Show in Mexico City

USSEC recently participated in the Exporestaurantes trade show, for hotels, restaurants and institutions, in Mexico City and exhibited soybean products to industry attendees at its booth. USSEC consultants Jorge Martinez and Pedro Gonzalez attended the show and promoted more than 20 soybean products, including soy oils, soy milks, soybean texturized protein foods and snacks manufactured by eleven companies that consume U.S. soybeans in Mexico.
During the show, Martinez and Gonzalez presented on the health benefits and use of soy oil in restaurants at a seminar in the edible oils pavilion. USSEC consultants spoke with industry managers and representatives about soy products, and more than 30 new commercial contacts were made. Participant companies that attended Exporestaurantes increased the sales and consumption of soybeans.
