USSEC is slated to participate in the Nutra India Summit 2014 in Bangalore from March 12-14.  This international conference focuses on current trends and upcoming opportunities and is India’s largest nutra event for nutrition; nutraceuticals; health foods; functional foods; dietary supplements; food ingredients; food biotechnology; and research and development.  The theme of the 2014 event is “New Sutra for Nutra for Emerging Global Economies.”

USSEC Director – India Soy Food Program Dr. Murali Krishna Madhavapeddi has been invited to participate as a member of the Poster Jury.  Participating students and researchers are invited to submit a poster abstract of their research work in one of these four categories:  Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods; Product Formulations; Food Composition and Analysis as related to Nutraceuticals-Functional Foods-Dietary Supplements (NuFFooDS); and Nutrition for Health and Well-Being.
