U.S. Soy Takes Part in 2019 Trade Talk in Kansas City

Last week, USSEC and the United Soybean Board (USB) sponsored the National Association of Farm Broadcasters (NAFB) convention and the annual Trade Talk event. Between the two organizations, 40 media outlets were engaged, conducting 54 total interviews with regional farm broadcasters and top tier national outlets, including Orion Samuelson with This Week in Agribusiness, Marlin Bohling with RFD-TV, Rod Bain with USDA Radio News, Ben Nuelle with Agri-Pulse, Cyndi Young with Brownfield, Jodi Henke with Successful Farming, and Jamie Johansen with AgWired, among others.
USSEC Senior Director; New Program Development, Non-Traditional Funding, & Sub Saharan Africa Ed Beaman participated in nearly 20 media interviews, discussing how new markets will pay out dividends for U.S. Soy, including details on Soy Excellence Centers. Mr. Beaman’s national interviews included Agri-Pulse, Brownfield, and USDA Radio News. He also spoke to a number of regional outlets, including: KQLX & Red River Farm Network (North Dakota), KASM Radio (Minnesota), WLDS Radio (Illinois), WJAG and KRVN Radio (Nebraska), WIBW Radio and Kansas Ag Report (Kansas), KOEL and KICD Radio (Iowa), KMZU Radio (Missouri), WAXX Radio (Wisconsin), WNAX Radio (South Dakota) and Texas Farm Bureau Radio Network.
