U.S. Soy Grower Leaders Speak to International Customers at IPPE Luncheon

USSEC hosted a luncheon at the 2019 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) on February 13 in Atlanta, Georgia. The International Production & Processing Expo is the world’s largest annual poultry, meat and feed industry event of its kind. A wide range of international decision-makers attends this annual event to network and become informed on the latest technological developments and issues facing the industry.
USSEC CEO Jim Sutter provided opening comments and welcomed the group of invitees, including numerous international customers. He then introduced three U.S. soy grower leaders.
American Soybean Association (ASA) director David Droste from Illinois, United Soybean Board (USB) director Larry Marek from Iowa, and Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board chairman Rusty Smith each spoke about his family farm.
USSEC analyst John Baize gave the keynote speech, “The Changing Face of World Soybean Trade.”
USSEC Director – Animal Focus & Meal Pam Helmsing closed the luncheon with a presentation on the superior nutritional qualities of U.S. Soy.
