Inviting All Soy Buyers, Sellers, and Users: You Belong at Soy Connext!

Enhance your business strategy with insights, trends, connections and collaborations.

In less than 100 days, the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) will once again welcome international buyers and users of soy to the United States for Soy Connext — the global U.S. Soy summit, which will be held August 22-24, 2022 in San Diego, California, U.S.A.

Soy Connext is the new avataar of the event formerly known as the U.S. Soy Global Trade Exchange & Specialty Grains Conference (or GTE) and is poised to give international buyers and users of soy opportunities to meet with U.S. Soy sellers, visit farms, and hear from some of the world’s foremost experts on trends shaping the global soy complex.

Soy Connext will bring together the world’s top buyers, sellers and users of soy, and all those who look to U.S. Soy to deliver sustainability impact. The agenda reflects top-of-mind issues for those who work in the food and agriculture sector, with sessions on macro-economic trends, the shifting vegetable oil complex, freight and logistics, and tracks dedicated to whole soybeans and soybean meal for aquaculture and livestock nutrition, and specialty soybeans for soy foods. And, the important topic of sustainability is embedded throughout the program.

“These unprecedented times (with COVID, supply chain disruptions, inflation, the war) remind us of our responsibility to nourish our world sustainably,” says Jim Sutter, CEO for USSEC. “Soy Connext helps international customers and U.S. Soy farmers and industry make the right connections, hear and exchange perspectives on the latest trends, research and data, and have an opportunity to ask experts tough questions to help evolve their business strategy to deliver sustainable growth.

“Soy Connext is an excellent venue for all of us to share perspectives, build and strengthen networks, and find opportunities to collaborate to transform global nutrition, provide climate-forward solutions, and support progress for people and communities around the world.”

Registration costs $425 for USSEC members, $525 for non-members, and $500 for international attendees who register before June 30. The USSEC member rate also extends to our partner organizations: American Soybean Association, United Soybean Board, Specialty Soya & Grains Alliance, and World Initiative for Soy in Human Health.

“As Chairman of USSEC, I’m excited to welcome international customers back to the United States to meet with my fellow U.S. Soy farmers and industry at Soy Connext to share what we do that gives them the U.S. Soy advantage versus soy of other origins,” says Doug Winter, a fifth-generation family farmer who grows U.S. Soy, corn, and wheat on 3,200 acres (1,300 hectares) in Illinois, U.S.A.

“I think it’s important to hear local and global perspectives, have discussions, and share that level of detail around conservation and sustainability practices and how it all comes together for high quality, reliable production and supply of U.S. Soy.”

At Soy Connext, USSEC is uniting changemakers, thought leaders and industry experts to help you forge new connections and collaborations that transform global nutrition, provide climate-forward solutions, and support progress for people and communities globally.
