USSEC Provides Technical Service to Preferred Costumers in Dominican Republic

USSEC recently provided technical service to preferred costumers in the Dominican Republic.
Consultant Julio Chaves visited two companies which are in the process of building new facilities.  At the first company, he provided recommendations on avoiding cross and counter flows and discussed how the space of one of the buildings under construction will comply with all international standards.  At the second company, Mr. Chaves reviewed the blueprints and checked the building progress.

He called on a company in Santo Domingo that is the largest sausage producer in Central America and the Caribbean to discuss the program of an upcoming seminar on “Meat Raw Materials for Sausages.”  USSEC will conduct the seminar for this company in the next few months.
Mr. Chaves also visited the Cooperative of Pork Growers and the Dominican Federation of Pork Producers (FEDOPORC).  At the Cooperative, he gave a lecture titled “Meats, Quality and Food Safety” to an audience composed of stakeholders and cooperative employees.  At FEDOPORC, he participated in a meeting to share ideas and experiences for the organization of the events XII Central American and Caribbean Pork Congress and IV Ibero-American Pork Organization, which will be held in Punta Cana in September.
