USSEC Participates in NAFB Conference in Kansas City

Representatives from the U.S. soy family attended the 70th Annual National Association of Farm Broadcasters (NAFB) Conference at the Kansas City Westin Crown Center on November 13 – 14.  The NAFB offers three days each year of professional improvement, networking, listening to newsmakers and celebrating the accomplishments of their peers.  The centerpiece of this event is Trade Talk, where participants occupy 8 x 10 booth spaces, represented by spokespersons trained and comfortable doing radio/broadcast interviews.  Trade Talk affords participants access to member broadcasters to discuss the issues and topics that are important to their organizations, associations, and companies.

Grower leaders Bob Henry, American Soybean Association (ASA) Vice President, and Bob Metz, United Soybean Board (USB) Director represented the U.S. soy family at the USSEC booth along with USSEC's Drew Klein and Dana Johnson.  Topics of particular importance to USSEC and to the U.S. soy industry are exports and sustainability.
