USSEC Contracts with NSRL on SBM Training Program for Poultry and Swine Producers

USSEC Japan recently met with representatives of the National Soybean Research Laboratory (NSRL) and the Animal Science Department at the University of Illinois to discuss contract details for a USB-funded feed training course.  During his visit, consultant Katsufumi Maekawa visited swine and poultry research facilities and discussed details for the curriculum and timing for the training program with NSRL staff.

The National Soybean Research Laboratory is located at the University of Illinois and promotes soybean research, education and outreach in the areas of production, nutrition and international development. Since 1993, NSRL's role has dynamically responded to the evolving technological and marketing conditions of the soybean industry.
