USSEC shared holiday cheer with the Korean feed industry as USSEC Korea staff attended a yearend dinner meeting hosted by the purchasing committee of Korea Feed Association (KFA).  More than 200 participants representing feed millers, suppliers, logistics and other stakeholders attended.  KFA and its member feed mills expressed their appreciation to USSEC for being a source of balanced and science-based information disseminated in a timely manner.  USSEC staff also acknowledged KFA and its member feed mills for their continuing interest in USSEC’s programs. 

This past October, KFA member feed mills entered into purchasing contracts with Cargill, CHS and Al Ghuruair for a total of 150,000 metric tons of U.S. soybean meal that will arrive during January-March 2014.
