The U.S. Soy Global Trade Exchange is USSEC’s biggest event of the year, bringing together international trade teams and U.S. soy industry representatives for key discussions and personal networking. Last year, more than 270 international buyers traveled from more than 40 countries to participate in this unique opportunity. Chinese agricultural leaders signed 21 purchasing contracts totaling $2.3 billion and Taiwanese trade teams added another $28 million to that tally.
The U.S. Soybean Export Council aims to maximize the use of U.S. soy internationally by meeting the needs of global customers that use U.S. soy in human food and feed for poultry, livestock and fish. The organization uses a global network of stakeholder partnerships, including soybean farmers, exporters, agribusinesses, agricultural organizations, researchers and government agencies, to accomplish that mission.
