2025 SIC Training - Aquaculture Nutrition and Feed
Zhengzhou, China
This 3-day course is designed to deliver an educational and enriching learning experience. The training will run from June 2, 2025 to June 4, 2025. Half a day will focus on promoting the U.S. soybean industry, emphasizing the nutritional value and sustainability advantages of U.S. soybeans. The remaining 1.5 days will center on the International Aquaculture Feed Formulation Database (IAFFD), highlighting its superiority and practical applications in aquaculture feed formulation.
The course will feature joint instruction from USSEC aquaculture experts, USSEC IAFFD pioneer practitioners, and domestic specialists in related fields. Through introductions to IAFFD and hands-on training with formulation software, the program aims to:
• Enhance the precision and operability of systematic feed formulations in China’s aquaculture industry.
• Demonstrate how to optimize feed formulas using IAFFD to achieve specific objectives.
• Highlight the nutritional advantages of U.S. soybean products (e.g., enzyme-treated soybean products, soy protein concentrate) via live formulation demonstrations.
Key discussions will explore hot topics related to soybean product innovations, integrating IAFFD’s capabilities to empower participants to:
• Adjust feed formulations strategically based on predefined goals.
• Recognize the economic value of U.S. soybean products in feed optimization. Beyond technical training, the course will emphasize the U.S. soybean industry’s leadership in sustainability and carbon footprint reduction. Post-training, customized technical support will be provided to feed mills based on feedback, further showcasing how U.S. soy solutions contribute to sustainable development in China’s aquaculture sector. By completing this program, participants will gain:
1. In-depth knowledge of IAFFD’s role in modern feed formulation.
2. Practical skills to leverage U.S. soybean products for cost-effective, high-performance feed solutions.
3. Awareness of sustainability-driven innovations in the global soybean value chain.
