Advanced Marine Fish Production Initiatives Taiwan Study Trip

Intra-regional travel by key stakeholders can benefit stakeholders in both locations as they learn from one another.  In this case key marine fish stakeholders in Southeast Asia (SEA) will be led on a tour of the Taiwan marine fish industry to showcase what an efficient and effective marine fish industry looks like.  The expectations are the lessons learned will be brought back to the SEA stakeholders’ respective nations and organizations for improvement of the marine fish industry in SEA.  USSEC feels that a larger, industrial scale marine fish industry in SEA will lead to the uptake of high-quality feeds that favor US Soy, particularly due to the sustainability aspect (needed if producers are seeking an aquaculture certification).
