Reggie Strickland is a seventh-generation farmer in eastern North Carolina producing soybeans, corn, pigs, turkeys, pickling cucumbers, sweet potatoes and flue-cured tobacco. He farms with his wife, Laura; daughter, Savannah; son, Grayson; and his father, Garrett. Reggie’s hope is to continue to be sustainable to pass his operation on to future generations. He holds a degree in agribusiness management from North Carolina State University. Reggie is a United Soybean Board Director and serves on the Value Action Team in the Industrial Work Group. He served on the USSEC Soy Excellence Center Global Advisory Panel. Reggie is Chair of the Mount Olive Southern States Board and serves on the North Carolina State University Entrepreneurship Advisory Council. He is also involved with the North Carolina Pork Council, North Carolina Soybean Producers Association and North Carolina State University Agricultural Institute Advisory Board.
