Joel Schreurs farms in southwestern Minnesota, where his family has raised soybeans, corn, alfalfa, hogs, cattle and sheep. The operation has expanded and evolved into a grain operation, currently growing soybeans and corn, along with a cow-calf operation run by his son-in-law’s family. Joel and his family work hard to protect and preserve the land they farm to be sustainable. Joel is a Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion Council Director. He is USSEC Soy Excellence Center Global Advisory Panel Treasurer, and prior to his current position as a USSEC Allied Sub-Class Director, represented the American Soybean Association on the USSEC board. He is a United Soybean Board Director and serves on the Value Action Team in the Food Work Group.
