USSEC Announces the Launch of Soyexcellence.org, Opening of the First SEC Digital Community

Founded in 2019, Soy Excellence Centers (SECs) provide world-class programming for agribusiness professionals in emerging markets. Now, with the launch of Soyexcellence.org and the SEC Digital Community, the program extends beyond the classroom to provide learners with a global, online professional development platform.

The U.S. Soybean Export Council is pleased to announce that Soyexcellence.org, the official website for the global Soy Excellence Center (SEC) program, is now live. The website will serve as a hub to showcase the impact the program is making across four regional hubs, which include Asia, Americas, Middle East and North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Soyexcellence.org will also be the home for the SEC Digital Community – a global, online learning and professional development platform for SEC program graduates.

As the first to experience the platform, over 400 participants in the Soy Excellence Center Poultry Program across all four regions received an invitation today to join the SEC Digital Community. All participants will have completed an SEC course in basic or intermediary poultry production since the program launched in 2019.

“We are thrilled to see our vision of creating a digital hub for SEC learners come to life,” says Tori Sorensen, Marketing Director at Insta-Pro International and Chairman of the SEC Steering Committee. “The SEC digital platform will be a differentiator for U.S. Soy globally, providing a unique opportunity to identify and support emerging leaders in agribusiness around the globe.”

The community provides participants with access to on-demand supplemental training content and seminars, continuing education opportunities and direct access to industry experts sourced from the U.S. Soy international network. In addition, users can connect with industry peers from across the globe. This online community is one more example of how U.S. Soy works to support customers and partners in emerging markets.

“The Soy Excellence Center program provides education to our region’s workforce, and I believe that education is paramount for us to continue to grow and evolve,” says Lorena Delgado, Director at ALIPEC Mexico and SEC Americas Advisory Council Member. “I see the knowledge gained is a tremendous opportunity to aid in the development of our companies in the region. I’m honored to be part of this excellent program and I look forward to seeing it evolve now that the digital platform is available.”

Ultimately, SECs help emerging markets address pressing food security, nutrition, and sustainability challenges by providing professional development and capacity building programming.
