USSEC Celebrates Global Leaders in Sustainability Companies Featuring the Sustainable U.S. Soy Label

August 25, 2025

The U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) proudly honored companies from across the globe that are making sustainability a core part of their business as part of Soy Connext 2025.

Worldwide, 147 companies feature the Sustainable U.S. Soy or Fed with Sustainable U.S. Soy label on their products. That translates into 1,172 sustainable U.S. Soy-labeled products available to consumers in 21 countries — a clear indication that sustainable sourcing is in demand, with U.S. Soy leading the world as the global standard in sustainability.

Why the Label Matters

Consumers are more aware than ever before of where their food comes from and how it’s produced. By carrying the Sustainable U.S. Soy label, companies can confidently demonstrate to their customers, investors, and partners that they are sourcing responsibly and sustainably-grown U.S. Soy.

“You can’t claim you are a sustainable company if you do not source your raw materials responsibly,” said Neil Suraweera, Group CEO of New Anthoney’s Feeds and New Anthoney’s Farms. “Once we introduced the Sustainable U.S. Soy logo, we saw the value immediately. Our customers believe us, they trust us, and they value our commitment.”

That trust and credibility are exactly what today’s honorees are achieving through their leadership.

Available at no cost to international companies, the Sustainable U.S. Soy or Fed with Sustainable U.S. Soy labels are verified under the U.S. Soy Sustainability Assurance Protocol (SSAP) — a program that verifies U.S. Soy is grown through a national system of regulations and best practices.

Recognition Across Regions

During the Soy Connext program, USSEC CEO Jim Sutter recognized companies from every region of the globe:

  • Americas – 48 companies licensed, with 10 represented at Soy Connext 2025
  • South Asia – 16 licensed, 5 in attendance
  • Greater China – 27 licensed, 8 in attendance
  • Northeast Asia – 36 licensed, 9 in attendance
  • Southeast Asia – 20 licensed, 4 in attendance

Each of these companies is playing a vital role in making sustainability both a business priority and a consumer promise.

A Growing Global Movement

The recognition of global program participants not only highlighted the accelerating worldwide impact of sustainable U.S. Soy, but also the increasing opportunities ahead.

By choosing to display the Sustainable U.S. Soy label, companies are helping raise the bar across the global food system and responding to increasing consumer demand for sustainably grown food products. They’re sending a clear message: sustainability is not optional, it’s essential.

As demand for protein continues to rise around the world, sustainability will remain front and center in consumer expectations. The companies celebrated at Soy Connext 2025 are leading that charge, setting an example for others to follow.
