   The U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2nd IPRS Technical Mission in Barranquilla, Colombia, taking place from September 23 to 26, 2025. 

  This event is designed to present a strategic investment opportunity for aquaculture producers, aimed at enhancing production through advanced technology that promotes efficiency, profitability, and sustainability.

  The In-Pond Raceway System (IPRS) technology offers a compelling option for diversification—particularly in a context where markets are increasingly demanding, production costs are rising, and final product prices remain low. 

  Throughout the event, we will explore how IPRS can serve as a profitable alternative for fish producers, contributing to greater competitiveness in the aquaculture sector.

  • September 25: IPRS site visits

  • Location: Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia

1.    Technical session with keynote presentations from IPRS experts from the United States, China, and Canada

2.    Guided visits to operational aquaculture farms implementing IPRS technology

For guests traveling from outside Barranquilla:

  • Registration

  • Round-trip airfare: Departure on September 23 and return on September 26, from the city provided during registration

  • Hotel accommodations in Barranquilla from September 23 to 26

  • Meals as indicated in the agenda

  • Transportation to the scheduled site visits on September 25

  • Transportation from Barranquilla airport to the hotel and back for departure

  The items listed above will be arranged and covered by USSEC ONLY FOR THE EVENT DATES.

  Meals and other expenses not specified above (e.g., ground transportation between your place of origin and the airport/hotel, etc.) must be covered by the participant.
