Aquaculture Health Management: USSEC Biosecurity and Aquatic Animal Health Training

This event shall be organized by USSEC in collaboration with experts on biosecurity and aquatic animal health. This event shall provide technical insights on biosecurity protocols to ensure healthy farmed aquatic animals and minimized disease occurrence.  Within aquaculture, the issue of disease is important because it often indicates a failure of health management.  More importantly, producers cannot assess the value of better quality feeds or production approaches if the aquatic animals are diseased or dying.  By providing technical support in this area it allows producers to better judge the value of feeds, and be willing to purchase higher-quality feeds.
