The seven farmer-directors of the South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Council oversee the investments of South Dakota soybean checkoff funds to maximize profit opportunities for all 13,000 South Dakota soybean farmers. South Dakota soybean checkoff funds are invested in research, education, domestic and foreign markets, including new uses for soybeans and soybean products.
