Mike Koehne is a first-generation farmer in southeastern Indiana. He and his wife, Jill, farm with their children, Rebecca, Luke, Logan and Caroline. They raise market-specific crops, including high oleic soybeans and soy food beans for Japan and Taiwan along with corn for dry millers in Japan and for the Kentucky bourbon market. The Koehne family also raises cattle and grows hay. They currently own a farm drainage business and previously operated a livestock trucking company. Mike is an American Soybean Association Director and serves on the Trade Policy & International Affairs, Governance and Nominating Committees. He served as Soy Transportation Coalition Chair. Mike was previously Indiana Soybean Alliance Chair and currently serves as an Ex-Officio board member. He is also an Indiana Land Improvement Contractors Association Director.
