Janna and her husband, Joel, produce soybeans, corn, wheat, triticale and dry edible beans on their sixth-generation family farm in eastern Michigan. In addition, she serves as president of DF Seeds. Prior to this role, Janna was CEO of the Michigan Soybean Committee and the Michigan Soybean Association. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in Agriculture & Natural Resources Communications, a master’s degree from Concordia University in Organizational Leadership and is a graduate of the Michigan Agri Business Association leadership program. Janna is an American Soybean Association Director and serves on the Trade Policy & International Affairs Committee. She is also on the USSEC Soy Excellence Center Global Advisory Panel. Janna has been on various boards and committees with the National Corn Growers Association, U.S. Grains Council, Michigan Corn Growers Association, Michigan Farm Bureau and Michigan FFA Foundation.
