USSEC Touts the Benefits of Biotechnology, Sustainability in Europe

USSEC recently gave a series of presentations at various European locales discussing biotechnology and sustainability.  USSEC Technical Issues Director Kim Nill traveled to the countries of Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland at the request of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)’s Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) to speak at a series of events organized by FAS-Warsaw.  Mr. Nill delivered a presentation at each venue explaining why biotechnology-derived crops are better for the environment and discussing how soybeans of U.S. origin soybeans are sustainably produced.
