USSEC Hosts Japan Poultry Team at University of Illinois

USSEC hosted a visiting feed training team from Japan from February 16-21 at the University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois.  USSEC’s objective was to provide key Japanese poultry producers with a better understanding of the quality and nutritional value of U.S. soybean meal.

The poultry team training consisted of several lectures and visits to the National Soybean Research Laboratory (NSRL) at the University of Illinois.  The team also took a poultry research farm tour along with visiting the headquarters of soybean processer Incobrasa Industries Ltd.; the CGB Hennepin river terminal; a Scoular container loading facility; and a farm.
