USSEC Dedicates Series of Technical Webinars on Livestock And Human Protein Over 8 Weeks to Inform and Support Southeast Asia’s Food and Agribusiness Industries

USSEC will host a series of technical webinars from September 25th through November 2020 to support the Southeast Asia agricultural industry as the region recovers from the negative impacts of COVID-19 and African Swine Fever. These technical webcast series will take place during the Asia Time Zone and aims to provide industry professionals with the latest updates on U.S. soy applications for food and feed, as well as technical advancements and developments in human protein, animal protein and aquaculture.

This initiative was conceptualized during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic in anticipation of the probable disruption to conducting USSEC’s usual program of in-person technical events and activities. Over the course of the pandemic, the USSEC SEA team has continued to implement its technical servicing and initiatives, sharing the latest technical knowledge and updates through virtual programming through an international panel of technical subject matter experts.

The first webcast will be hosted by USSEC SEA’s human protein team for nutritionists and professionals from the food and beverage sector, on September 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (Singapore / Malaysia / Philippines time - GMT+8).
