Philippine Aquaculture Stakeholders Hear about Fish Health Management

USSEC Southeast Asia was invited to participate in the Consultative Meeting on Fish Diseases Monitoring and Prevention in Mariculture Parks.
Levy Loreto L. Manalac, USSEC Philippines Technical Manager – Aquaculture presented “Causes of Fish Diseases in Marine Fish Cage Environment and its Effect on Cultured Fish” at the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) – National Mariculture Center in Panabo City, Davao del Norte, Philippines.
The objective of the consultation is to learn the fish health status of different mariculture parks and provide solutions, on fish health management to prevent fish disease occurrence in mariculture parks.
The meeting was attended by almost 40 participants coming from investors, farm technicians, and BFAR staff.
