The 2014 U.S. Soy Global Trade Exchange is coming up quickly!
The second annual premier international soy and grain trade event will run from September 15-18 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Once again, the conference is being hosted by USSEC and the Midwest Shippers Association and will take place at the Wisconsin Center. Over 250 international trade team members from 47 countries representing approximately 50 million metric tons or 1.8 billion bushels of whole soybeans attended last year’s event, with a total of more than 550 key soy and grain industry officials and decision-makers who participated in the 2013 soy global trade exchange held in Davenport, Iowa.
This year’s event is anticipated to match or surpass last year’s conference. The 2014 trade show will feature extended times for networking on both trade show days, September 16 and 17. Exhibitors will this year have access to a "mini theatre" for product information presentations during the trade show. The list of exhibitors is growing each day and already includes:
In addition, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection’s International Trade team is planning a Wisconsin exhibitor pavilion for companies from the Badger state.
The Milwaukee City Center Hilton can accommodate all anticipated attendees and is connected to the Wisconsin Center, the convention center where the conference program sessions and trade show will be held.
