U.S. Soy Supply Workshop - Indonesia
The U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) in collaboration with the Northern Soy Marketing (NSM), and supported by the American Soybean Association (ASA), United Soybean Board (USB), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Indonesia Feed Mill Association (GPMT), presents the U.S. Soy Supply Workshop.
Through this workshop, attendees will learn about U.S. soy product information (e.g. amino acid profile, metabolizable energy etc.), and essential trade and import information (e.g. supply and demand dynamics, pricing trends, shipping rates, and directory of dedicated U.S. soy exporters, etc.) necessary to purchase U.S. soy.
Northern Soy Marketing
Northern Soy Marketing, LLC (NSM) is a farmer-led board formed by the soybean checkoff boards of Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Minnesota. The board invests grower checkoff funds to conduct research on soybean quality in U.S. soybeans and soybean meal destined for export, especially those from the Pacific Northwest (PNW) ports. NSM funds educational outreach sessions for international soybean buyers to consider critical amino acid value as a complete assessment of soybean feed quality rather than only crude protein levels.
U.S. Soybean Export Council
USSEC is a dynamic partnership of key stakeholders representing U.S. soybean producers, processors, commodity shippers, merchandisers, allied agribusinesses, and agricultural organizations. Through a global network of international offices and strong support in the U.S., we help create and sustain demand for U.S. soybeans and soybean products, educate about the use of soy in feed and food, promote the benefits of U.S. Soy through education, and connect industry leaders through a robust membership program. USSEC implements international market development and market access activities on behalf of the U.S. Soy Family, which is comprised of several other soy organizations such as the American Soybean Association (ASA), the United Soybean Board (USB), Qualified State Soybean Boards (QSSBs) and U.S. industry members.
