Celebrating U.S. Soy’s Consistent Supply, Quality at the U.S. Full-fat Soybean Extrusion Technology and Market Seminar in China

U.S. Soy ensures the reliable supply of raw materials and dependable product quality.

On October 28, USSEC hosted the U.S. Full-fat Soybean Extrusion Technology and Market Seminar, co-organized with Henan Shennong Full-fat Soybean Technology Co., Ltd. (Henan Shennong), in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, China. Decision makers from 66 feed mills and animal husbandry enterprises, including Hefeng, New Hope Liuhe, and other influential enterprises, attended this event.

The seminar also celebrated the first direct arrival of Chicago soybean containers by sea rail intermodal transportation to Zhengzhou’s inland port. Henan Shennong has actively utilized soybeans certified by the U.S. Soy Sustainability Assurance Protocol (SSAP) to produce its full-fat soybean products since 2018, when it became the first Chinese company authorized to apply the SSAP logo to its feed packaging bags. The logo helped the company’s products to earn a good reputation in the marketplace, obtaining influence and market position. The organization was previously unable to choose the origin of its soybeans when bulk importing with other purchasers, and this was the first direct shipping trial for Shennong as it imported the beans independently through sea rail intermodal container, making it more convenient for the company to purchase its preferred U.S. soybeans.
