USSEC to Co-Host 11th Southeast Asia U.S. Agricultural Co-Operators Conference

USSEC will co-host the 11th Southeast Asia U.S. Agricultural Co-Operators Conference from August 26-29 in Danang, Vietnam.  This event, co-sponsored by USSEC, the U.S. Grains Council (USCG) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), is widely recognized by the industry as the premier agricultural event of the year.
The conference theme this year, “Global Agribusiness Outlook,” aims to highlight the changes and challenges faced by agribusinesses today.  Price direction will be a key topic and there will be a panel of industry presenters who will share insights and offer expert opinions on what’s moving the market and where it’s heading.  This event has proven to be a valuable center to build relationships and develop business opportunities.
USSEC CEO Jim Sutter will provide opening remarks and United Soybean Board (USB) Chairman Jim Call will speak to participants about “U.S. Soybean Crop Perspectives 2014-2015:  Achieving Sustainability in U.S. Agriculture.”  Randy Mann, USSEC Chairman and American Soybean Association (ASA) Secretary, will talk about the U.S. Soybean sustainability and the benefit to our customers who use sustainable soy.  USSEC consultant John Baize will lecture on the topic of “Future Demand Growth for Soybeans and Feed Grains:  Who and How Will It Be Supplied.”
About 150 people are expected to attend this conference.  The conference program can be viewed at: SEAsia Conference Program
